Psychometric Testing for Employees and Sales Teams
At LearnCorp, we not only provide training, but have the in-house skill and resources to undertake psychometric and psychometric-like tests for your employees, for individuals and for sales teams.
What is Psychometric Testing?
Psychometric testing is personality testing that classifies an individual in terms of personality and tendency. It helps place teams in the best possible structure, helps sales forces work better and it can improve negotiation tactics and customer service.
Who is it for?
This type of testing works for a range of employees and managers. Sales staff, call centre staff, administration and operations staff can all potentially benefit from this type of testing. It can potentially improve responses from employees to customers, enhance sales drive or make the organisation structure more efficient.
What is the Test About?
The test asks you basic questions about how you would respond in various scenarios. For example, whether you are more practical or more people focussed, whether you value time over a chat and so forth. Basic, life-like scenarios are posed and the respondent answers them. Through the response template, we get to classify the individual into a particular personality profiles.
Is there a Pass Mark for the Test?
The test is not an exam, so there is no pass or fail. There is no “good” and “bad” personality. All personality types are good and what the test attempts to do is to see what things your personality style values more. This helps you deal with other people and also manage what you want from people.
This type of testing is similar to personality testing and provides an analysis of the strengths of the individual and the areas of training that are the most impactful on the person’s behaviours and work results. We conduct several types of tests in two categories:

For sales professionals, sales teams and sales candidates
Personality tests measure your behavioural style, opinions and motivators such as your preference to work in a group or as part of a team. Personality tests also measure personal attributes such as interactions with others, direction, values and areas of strength at work.
Aptitude tests are designed to measure an employee’s capacity for cognitive behaviours at work. Each test question in this test has only one correct answer, and everyone can correctly solve all the test questions. There is a time limit to each test as these show the difference between different respondents. The test helps understand how the different parts of the individual work to create the person’s intelligence. For example, how we use our intelligence at work and how we make decisions.
Verbal Reasoning Tests
The test measures your ability to identify critical issues from written material such as reports, and logically derive conclusions from written facts or data. It is almost like a skim-reading test that measures your ability to detect important facts in a document.
